Sydney's top selling home of the grand final weekend was 17 Berrillee Street, Turramurra which fetched $4.22 million.

Meeting its reserve price, the five-bedroom house on 1500 square metres sold to a young family from the Homebush district.

There was just the one other bidder, an upper north shore local wanting to buy the renovated 1940s home. It previously sold at $2.9 million in 2005.
