Crown Group’s Sydney by Crown is set to be the last new apartment building in the CBD to launch and begin sales before moving into 2015.

The 220-apartment development, at 161 Clarence Street, includes designs from Koichi Takada Architects. The 25-storey building will include heritage-style lower levels and a modern glass and steel tower.

It will include a rooftop bar and garden with water features, and is walking distance to Barangaroo. It will also include a number of serviced apartments.

The ground level will feature health and fitness facilities, including a pool and gym.

Crown Group chief executive Iwan Sunito said that the development, pictured below, set to become a centerpiece of Sydney.

“The location of Sydney by Crown in the heart of the city and also walking distance to tourist hotspots such as the Sydney Opera House, Barangaroo and Darling Harbour is exceptional,” he said.

They have already received a number of registrations of interest after enquiries opened earlier this year.

Construction will be complete in 2017.

Apartment sales begin on November 22.
