Sydney's spring clearance rate slips into the 50s, while Canberra soars

The final auction clearance rates for last weekend have been released.
 
They show Sydney's clearance rate begins with a '5' for the first time since late 2015, CoreLogic analyst Cameron Kusher noted.
 
Sydney's revised success rate was put at 58.3 percent.
 
Canberra edged ahead of Melbourne which is still above 70 percent.
