Sydney's City and Inner South scores 84% auction clearance rate: CoreLogic

Sydney’s City and Inner South region had the highest weekend auction clearance rate, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that out of the 53 auctions in the area 84.9% resulted in a successful outcome.

This was followed by the Inner West with 82.1% and the Northern Beaches with 80.7%.

Only 52.6% of Blacktown's 19 auctions were cleared making it Sydney's lowest clearance rate region.

A three bedroom house at 37 Dampier Street, Kurnell (above) was sold for $1.38 million.

It was last sold in 2011 for $530,000.
