Sydney's city and Inner South scores 80% weekend auction clearance rate: CoreLogic

The City and Inner South had the highest weekend auction clearance rate in Sydney, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that 80.6% of its 67 auctions were cleared.

This is followed by Baulkham Hills and Hawkesbury with 79% and the Eastern Suburbs, North Sydney and Hornsby with 77.4% each.

Sutherland had only 57.5% of its auctions cleared.

A two bedroom apartment at 1/21-27 Tupper Street, Enmore (above) was sold for $818,000.

Built in 1977 it last sold in 2000 for $111,000.

Another two bedroom apartment at 4/116 Swanson Street, Erskineville (below) was sold for $987,000.

Built in 1996 it last sold for $580,000 in 2009.
