The latest days on market and vendor discounting data from Australian Property Monitors suggest Sydney remains the private treaty powerhouse. 

Canberra enjoyed a strong month in the September data, with an improvement in both categories.

 Canberra's 3.5% September discount was the lowest among the recorded capitals, with Sydney remaining at 4.9%.
