Sydney and Canberra take least amount of time to sell: CoreLogic

Sydney and Canberra houses sell in the quickest time across the capital cities, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that the average time for a house to be sold in Sydney is 26 days while a unit can expect to stay on the market for 25 days before being sold.

Canberra houses are also selling with a 26 typical day turnaround, but Canberra apartments are taking 42 days.

Melbourne has the second shortest time with only 28 days for houses and 29 days for units.

However Darwin has the longest time with a house averaging 108 days on the market while units can expect to stay for 121 days.
