Surry Hills tops the 12 Sydney weekend auction hotspot suburbs

Sydney achieved a near record 83.8% weekend auction success rate.

Property Observer notes listing volumes were up to their highest winter level, though still slim compared to the typical spring selling season.

 

The 12 top performing auction suburbs were:

3) Balmain          4 sold  4 notified  3 yet to be advised

4) Epping             4 sold 4 notified

5 Croydon Park  4 sold 4 notified

7 Manly             3 sold 3 notified

8 Ashfield          3 sold 3 notified

9 Hunters Hill  3 sold 3 notified

10 Burwood      3 sold 3 notified

12 Belmore      3 sold 3 notified

According to Australian Property Monitors (APM), it was the fifth consecutive weekend with a preliminary 80% plus outcome.
