Seagull Lodge has been sold for $2.4 million to a Sydney investor.

The ageing block of apartments at 99 Seagull Avenue, Mermaid Beach, was sold over the phone when auction through Tony Velissariou, of Burleigh’s Tony V Real Estate in conjunction with Luke Henderson, of The Professional Mermaid Beach.

The three-level Seagull Lodge is on a 647 square metre site in a medium-density residential zone.

The property was listed after the six owners agreed to a consolidated marketing effort.

The Gold Coast Bulletin reported they will each will receive $400,000.

The highest price paid by any of them for a unit was $334,000 in 2008.

One of the sellers had paid $77,000 in 1993.
