Scotty's warehouse in Port Melbourne for redevelopment
The Port Melbourne building known as "Scotty's warehouse" on Channel 9's The Block is set to be bulldozed and replaced with Mint, a luxury 16-apartment complex.
The space at 71 Rouse Street has been leased to The Block producers for host Scott Cam's headquarters until the current series.
Hockingstuart's David Wood said 14 of the Mint's apartments have been sold.
Construction starts in late 2014 with completion expected mid-2016.
The complex has been designed by architect Woods Marsh with apartments up to 158 square metres in size.
The five storey complex at the corner of Rouse Street and Esplanade East, around 200 metres from the beach and two blocks from the Bay Street shopping strip.
With coloured windows distributed within the patterned concrete, Mint has only one one-bedroom apartment, eight two-bedroom apartments and seven three-bedroom apartments.
The one-bedroom apartment has 87 square metres of internal space with an 8.8-metre balcony priced at $675,000.
Ranging in size from 97 square metres to 137 square metres, the two-bedroom apartments were priced from $895,000 to $1.43 million.
Three-bedroom apartments were priced from $1.49 million to $1.69 million.
Hockingstuart agent David Woods says the two remaining on offer are two-bedroom apartments.
