Scarness house sold by mortgagee for $4,000 gain in five years

A refurbished two bedroom house at Scarness, a beachside suburb in eastern Queensland, has been sold by mortgagees for $325,000.

It was offered by Scott & Katrina Mitchell from Mitchell's Realty Hervey Bay.

Situated at an elevated 696sqm allotment, the house at 13 Hillcrest Ave comes with two spacious bedrooms, three multi-purpose rooms, kitchen with large oven, and open plan dining and living area.

Other features include the large front veranda with views towards Hervey Bay, covered outdoor entertaining area and high entry carport.

It was last sold for $321,000 in 2013.

The suburb's median house price sits at $315,000, according to CoreLogic.
