Roxburgh Park secures Melbourne's cheapest weekend house sale

A four bedroom Roxburgh Park house was Melbourne's cheapest weekend auction house sale.

Set on 305 sqm at 16 Mackellar Drive, it sold at $291,000 through Raine & Horne agent Adam Jurdi.

It failed to sell in 2013 when listed with $300,000 plus hopes.

The house last sold at $43,000 in 2000, reflecting 12 per cent annual growth. It was last up for rent in early 2015 with a $330 weekly asking rental, reflecting 5.9% annual growth.
