A Rockhampton City, Queensland mortgagee house has been sold for $175,000.

The home was originally listed for $245,000 but following an unsuccessful March 2019 auction campaign the asking price was slashed multiple times to $185,000 before the property sold.

Dan Ware of Mr Real Estate marketed the property.

Situated at 46 Kent Street, the abode comprises a five bedroom two bathroom house.

Set on 506 square metres, the home is a dual living style property.

The upstairs consists of two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and balcony, while the downstairs is made up of three bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom.

The areas are linked by timber internal stairs and the holding also has rear lane access.

The home has been listed as a rental for $390 per week in 2014 and 2015, plus according to the listing it is still rented for this amount.

The house last sold in 2012 for $287,000.

The median sale price for a house in Rockhampton City is $160,000 according to the latest CoreLogic data.
