Rental yields across the capital cities: CoreLogic RP Data

CoreLogic RP Data have released the results from their home value index up to the end of February.

Despite prices continuing to rise in Sydney, rental yields fell to 3.6%.

Here are the full rental yield results for Australia's eight capital cities, according to CoreLogic RP Data:

  • Darwin - 5.9%
  • Hobart - 5.3%
  • Brisbane - 4.5%
  • Canberra - 4.2%
  • Adelaide - 4.2%
  • Perth - 4.1%
  • Sydney - 3.5%
  • Melbourne - 3.2%

UNITS

  • Darwin - 5.8%
  • Hobart - 5.3%
  • Brisbane - 5.5%
  • Canberra - 4.9%
  • Adelaide - 4.8%
  • Perth - 4.7%
  • Sydney - 4.4%
  • Melbourne - 4.2%
