Rabbitohs official puts Vaucluse home on market
The passionate Rabbitohs official, Jim Hatfield, a director of South Sydney Rugby League Club board, has put his longtime Vaucluse home up for auction.
Laing + Simmons agent L'eanne Lewis takes the coastal 1920s home to auction on October 26, with $4.5 million expectations.
"There are views featuring the CBD, Opera House, Bridge and Sydney Harbour from nearly every room," she said. The home sits on sandstone blocks feature walls.
The last time the double block Russell Street five bedroom property was offered in 1989 it sold for $875,000 to the auto engineering director who has maintained and renovated over the years.
Jim Hatfield, a veteran of the South's board, is recognised as one of those instrumental in returning the South Sydney club to its status as a powerhouse, alongside famous faces Russell Crowe and Peter Holmes a Court.
