Macquarie Bank's Ben Suttie and his wife Emma have sold their Woollahra residence.

Having returned from Hong Kong, the family is apparently off closer to the beach.

They were seeking about $5 million for the Georgian-style facaded property on its 335 square metre Queen Street block.

It was leased for the next year.

The two-storey terrace has formal lounge and dining rooms, a library, parterre garden, and double garage. There were three upstairs bedrooms.

It was bought in 2007 for $5,035,000 from New Zealand businessman Quentin Black.

It was the weekend's highest priced sale but  the selling agents William Manning and Emma Symonds of Ballard Property are under instructions not to reveal the price.

Property Observer gathers $5 million was secured.

Australian Property Monitors reported the highest revealed sale price as 13 Lewis Street, Balgowlah Heights, a four bedroom house that fetched $2,755,000 through R&W Seaforth/Balgowlah.
