Paddington unit tops this week's most expensive sales: RP Data

A three bedroom, two bathroom unit sold for $3.5 million this week.
According to RP Data, the first floor unit in the former Royal Hospital for Women (pictured above) is the most expensive property to sell in the past week.
This week's top end sales were dominated by Sydney offerings, with only one property in the top 10 sales located in Melbourne.

The first floor apartment in Paddington Green sold for $3.5 million through McGrath Estate Agents. One of 10 apartments in the complex, which was converted in 2000, the residence features three covered verandahs where the buyers can enjoy views of the city, the harbour and the complex's gardens.
The apartment includes substantial north facing living and dining areas, with 4.1 metre ceilings. It was recently advertised for rent at $2,800 per week. - 30a Beresford Road, Rose Bay, NSW
This three bedroom, two bathroom Rose Bay house sold for $3.35 million through Laing + Simmons. The French Rivera inspired home features limestone entertaining areas and a leafy garden.
With a northerly aspect, the house has a large living room, a separate formal dining area, a master bedroom with a walk-in robe and two queen sized bedrooms. The property last traded for $810,000 20 years ago. - 11 Summit Avenue, Dee Why, NSW
A contemporary home with panoramic ocean views secured $2.85 million through Belle Property this week. The five bedroom, three bathroom offering sits on a 588 square metre plot at the end of a cul de sac.

A four bedroom Brighton house was the only Victorian home to make RP Data's Top 10 this week, selling for $2.8 million through Hodges Brighton. The two storey home on a 702 square metre plot is situated on the northern side of Normanby Street, within walking distance of Brighton Grammar School and the Royal Brighton Yacht Club.
It has multiple interior living spaces including a home office which overlooks the pool and spa. - 29 Cowles Road, Mosman, NSW
After 37 years in the same family, this house sold for $2.8 million this week through McGrath Estate Agents. The five bedroom, three bathroom house retains many heritage features, including ornate ceilings and original floorboards and fireplaces.

The second Mosman home to make this week's top 10, this four bedroom, two bathroom house sold for $2.75 million. Set on a 601 square metre block, the house is situated 150 metres from The Spit Reserve, and is close to Beauty Point Public School and Balmoral Beach.

Richardson & Wrench Castlecrag sold this home for $2.7 million. A prominent curved front portion of the house holds a sunroom on the ground floor and a sitting room on the upper floor. The house's granite kitchen overlooks the backyard pool. - 29 Lower Fort Street, Millers Point, NSW
The formerly state-owned terrace house at Lower Fort Street earned a $2.56 million sum for the New South Wales government when sold through Di Jones Real Estate. The Colonial Regency style home was built in 1834 and offered for first time in a century, according to the listing information.
The five bedroom heritage listed townhouse was the second of the state government's Millers Point sales.
