Newport home of Coastal Drift founder Monique Ryan-Musacchio sells at auction

The Newport home of Monique Ryan-Musacchio — the stylish founder of homewares wholesaler Coastal Drift — sold on Saturday having been listed with a $2,495,000 price guide.

The final sale price was not made public.

The single-storey house, at 8 Goodwin Road, is 800 metres from the beach.

It feature four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a fireplace, a private courtyard with a pizza oven, a single car garage, and lush landscaped gardens.

Unbroken ocean views are also afforded from the 796 square metre block. 

Built in 1950, the home was renovated after its 2015 purchase at $1.85 million.

Newport's median house price is $1.7 million.

A 7 bedroom home, at 92-94 Prince Alfred Parade, is the suburb's most expensive residential property, having sold in 2008 for 14.6 million.

Adrian Venturi and Rowena Woodworth, from McGrath Avalon, listed the Goodwin Road property.
