Last traded for $480,000 in 2011, a two bedroom Neutral Bay apartment sold ahead of weekend auction for $610,000.

Currently rented for $510 a week, 9/441 Alfred Street had been listed with $560,000 plus hopes.

Its sale reflected a 4.35% yield, although the agents suggest the current market rental is $550 per week.

The two bedroom, one bathroom apartment with one undercover car space was built in 1962 and renovated in 2011.

It is on the first floor of Winchester House.

The renovated 88 square mere apartment strata levy is $621 a quarter.

It sold through Raine & Horne Chatswood agents Rebecca Harrison and Hugh Macfarlan.
