A Cooee Bay, Queensland mortgagee home - listed three times since it's last sale - has been sold for $185,000.

The home previously sold for $190,000 back in 2005 meaning the value of the property has decreased $5,000 in the past 14-15 years.

The most recent sale was in 2007 when the house traded for $280,000, meaning this latest transaction saw the vendors take a $95,000 loss.

Daniel Spyve of Harcourts marketed the property in its most recent campaign.

Situated at 44 Poplar Street, the abode comprises a three bedroom one bathroom house with one undercover parking space.

Built in 1970, the home sits on a 415 sqm block.

It has been listed as a rental three times since it last sold in 2007, first in 2010 and in 2011 seeking $275/pw.

More recently in 2015, it was listed for $280/pw.

The property features, polished timber floors throughout and a workshop/storage area under the house.

The median sale price for an apartment in Cooee Bay is $345,000 according to the latest CoreLogic data.
