Despite the portrayal of Mount Druitt on the recent SBS series Struggle Street, agent Leon Buttigieg of The Professionals has secured a $1 million sale.

The four-bedroom split level home at 38 Paull Street was sold on the same day as its first open house last weekend.

The home has four levels on its 1012 square metre block.

“It probably is close to a record if it isn’t a record for a residence. You get sales in excess but they are for development projects,” Mr Hansen told News Ltd.

“The story of this is to not tar everyone with the same Struggle Street brush,” he said.

The median house price in Mt Druitt is $500,000, according to RP Data, an increase of 19% on the previous year and a five-year increase of 58%.
