Mornington Peninsula scores highest weekend auction clearance rate in Melbourne: CoreLogic

The Mornington Peninsula had the highest auction clearance rate in Melbourne, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that out of the 54 auctions that were known to them, 87 percent resulted in a successful outcome.

This is followed by the North West with 86.1 percent and the Inner East with 85.3 percent.

The Inner region had the lowest auction clearance rate with only 76.1 percent of its 255 auctions cleared.

A five bedroom house at 12-14 John Rowell Lane, Mornington (above) was sold for $2.945 million.

Similarly a three bedroom house at 26 Kareela Drive, Tootgarook (below) was sold for $640,000.
