A large two storey house in Blackwater, a town in the significant coal mining area in Central Queensland, has been sold for $67,000.

It was sold at mortgagee auction by Jason Campbell from Blackwater Real Estate.

It previously sold at $275,000 in 2007, but now badly affected by termites.

Situated on 4 Conachan St, the house features three bedrooms upstairs, well-equipped kitchen, and two rumpus/utility rooms.

It comes with the fenced established yard, polished timber floors and four parking spaces.

According to CoreLogic, the suburb's median house price sits on $88,750.

Campbell says the market is strengthening with plenty of sales occurring and demand for rentals and sale properties in demand.
