Michael Suttor designed Woollahra house sells for $5.85 million

A family home designed by architect Michael Suttor has sold for $5.85 million after 24 years of ownership.

The four bedroom house at 8 Wallaroy Road, Woollahra sold at auction through Georgia Cleary of Bradfield Cleary Double Bay. The first bidder, who eventually secured the home, placed the opening $5 million bid. The house was declared for sale at $5.65 million.

With an outdoor entertaining area by Annie Wilkes, the double storey home includes multiple formal and informal living areas. Each of the four bedrooms have built in robes, while there is an additional fifth bedroom or library space. The house also includes a wine cellar and a solar heated pool.

CoreLogic RP Data named the home the most expensive to sell in the past week, with the data house not including the sale of Sandringham's $7.8 million Versace-inspired mansion.
