Melbourne's Outer East recorded the highest clearance rate in Melbourne this quarter: CoreLogic

Melbourne saw lower clearance rates across all nine sub-regions when compared to the December quarter, according to CoreLogic's Quarterly Auction Market report. 

However, all 9 sub-regions have recorded higher quarterly clearance rates and auction volumes than they did over the March 2019 quarter.

The Outer East recorded the highest clearance rate this quarter, with 67.3 per cent of the 766 auctions returning a successful result, followed by the Inner South.

Melbourne’s Inner region had the highest volume of scheduled auctions over the last three months (1,681), followed by the Inner South (1,347).

Overall Melbourne’s clearance rate was recorded at 63.8 per cent across 8,882 auctions over the quarter, compared to 72.8 per cent across 12,870 auctions over the previous quarter and 51.8 per cent across 6,375 auctions over the March 2019 quarter.
