Melbourne has tightest housing yields: CoreLogic

Melbourne has the tightest yields for houses while Sydney has the tightest for units, according to CoreLogic’s latest index report.

The property data firm says that Melbourne’s house yield sits at 2.6%.

Sydney follows behind with a 2.8% yield while Hobart and Darwin have the highest yields for houses. 

For units Melbourne's 4.2% yield is ranked second behind Sydney's 3.7% yield.
