A luxury residence in Canterbury was the most expensive sale in Victoria across the past week.

The $7.4 million sale of Cranston was sold at private mid-week auction through Castan Gilbert inconjunction with Kay & Burton.

The Edwardian designed home at 30 Balwyn Road was built in 1900.

It last traded in 2005 for $3.4 million, an impressive annual appreciation of 7.69 per cent.
