A four bedroom two bathroom Meadow Springs, WA mortgagee home has been sold after 285 days on market.

The house traded for $255,000.

It marks a reduction of $40,000 on it's 2012 sale price of $295,000.

Ted and Imelda Pankhurst of The Agency held the listing.

Situated at 12 La Grange Place, it was listed with an asking price of $290,000 in August 2018 following an unsuccessful auction campaign.

The asking price was reduced four times over the course of the listing, down to $260,000 in April this year.

Set on 585 sqm, the 1993 built home features eight solar panels, a large workshop and a secondary garden shed.

The median price for a home in Meadow Springs is $352,500, according to CoreLogic, which calculate its annual change in median price over the past 10 years as -0.4%.
