A five bedroom house with Sydney Harbour Bridge views at McMahons Point sold for $9.38 million, it was the highest priced result at the weekend auction.

Located at 3A Warung Street, the property is placed in a prized waterfront enclave.

It has a tri-level design to incorporate a sequence of living areas including a sunlit alfresco entertaining with harbour views.

There is a gourmet Caesar stone kitchen along with stainless steel gas fittings.

The master bedroom has an ensuite.

Other features include underfloor heating, open fireplace and dual parking.

The property was offered through McGrath agents Peter Shiplee and Nigel Mukhi who suggested it was Sydney's lower north shore highest auction result this year.

After nine contracts were issued, just two interested parties competed for the home which was passed in at $9.1 million. It sold post auction to a couple reportedly downsizing from HURSTVILLE.

The sale was well above the suburb's median of $2.305 million and more than double the highest sale of $4.25 million recorded in McMahons Point last year.
