The first Prahran apartment to be marketed in The Block Glasshouse has appeared on the realestateview website.

It is the apartment of Maxine and Karstan, with a design inspired by prominent local artist Thierry B.

The perennial Block buyers' agent Frank Valentic recently tweeted he saw the prospect of prices below $2 million, although the hype has been at $2 million plus.

The production company, Watercress spent $8.25 million on the 1980s office building near trendy Chapel Street and opposite Swinburne University's Prahran campus last August, with a subsequent $2.5 million Brenchley Architects infill works schedule.

There will be five auctions on 11 October. It is not known if the retail portion will be offered to the market.
