The weekend offering in Majorca House on the corner of Flinders Lane and Degraves Street in the Melbourne CBD fetched $750,000.

The 1928 fifth-level apartment now sits among the coffee and cafe-filled laneways.

It last sold for $315,000 in 2003.

The floorplan allows either for two bedrooms or a huge living-dining room.

It was offered through Melbourne Boutique Property agents Gina Donazzan and Mark Connellan whose price guidance for 504/258 Flinders Lane was $600,000 plus.

The building was designed by art deco architect Harry Norris.
