Kallangur, Queensland mortgagee home sold for $40,000 loss

A Kallangur, Queensland house has sold under the mortgagee auction hammer for $325,000.

The vendors made a loss of $37,250 three years on from when they purchased the home in 2016.

Liam Booker of LJ Hooker marketed the property.

Situated at 211 Duffield Road, the abode is comprised of two storeys with three bedrooms and two bathroom within.

Set on 645 sqm, the house features a large rear deck, drive through carport, double bay lockup shed and a garden shed. 

The property was originally listed for $376,500+ in January 2019 and was unsuccessful during an auction at the end of January.

Last sold in 2016, the home transacted for $362,250.

The median sale price for a unit in Kallangur is $397,000, according to CoreLogic data.
