Sydney-based developer, JQZ, has purchased a 1.715 hectare site in Macquarie Park to build a mixed-use apartment development with 4 residential towers and approximately 2000sqm of prime retail.

It was acquired from Goodman for an undisclosed amount, expected to be around $200 million.

Construction is expected to start on the site, 101 Waterloo Road Macquarie Park, mid 2017.

Jian Qiu Zhang, Founder and chief executive Officer of JQZ, said this site ticked all of the boxes in terms of convenience as it’s literally right next door to one of Australia’s premier shopping centres and only a 17-minute walk to Macquarie University.
