Hunters Hill home tops the week's most expensive sales

The top sale of the week was a four bedroom waterfront home in Hunters Hill, according to CoreLogic RP Data.

Set on a massive 1876 sqm site, the 1886 sandstone property at 22 Vernon Street sold for $6.51 million through BresicWhitney agent Nicholas McEvoy.

The Hunters Hill home narrowly edged out a six bedder in Mosman which sold for $6.5 million.

Sold through Simeon Manners Property, the home features a large wine cellar, gas-heated pool, spa, sauna and huge games room with a bar.
