Hunter region takes top spot for weekend auction clearance rate: CoreLogic

The Hunter region had the highest weekend auction clearance rate, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.
The property data firm says that the Hunter region had an auction clearance rate of 77.8% out of its 35 auctions.
This is followed by Wollongong with 77.3% and Geelong with 69%.
Gold Coast had the lowest auction clearance rate with only 32.4% of its 56 auctions successfully cleared.
A two bedroom unit at 7/2 Scenic Drive, Merewether (above) was sold for $740,000.
