Hunter region scores strong weekend auction clearance rate: CoreLogic

Geelong scored the highest auction clearance rate over the weekend, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that out of the 45 auctions in Geelong 77.8% resulted in a successful outcome.

This is followed by NSW Hunter region with 74.2% and Wollongong with 73.9%.

Gold Coast had the lowest auction clearance rate with only 32% of its 25 auctions cleared.

A four bedroom house at 5 Milton Street, Hamilton (above) was sold for $913,000.

Similarly a three bedroom house at 17 Lachlan Avenue, Singleton (below) was sold for $250,000.
