Hunter region scores 85% weekend auction clearance rate: CoreLogic

The Hunter region had the highest weekend auction clearance rate, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that out of the 28 auctions in the Hunter region 85.7% resulted in a successful outcome.

This was followed by Geelong with 79% and Wollongong with 78.6%.

The Sunshine Coast region had the lowest auction clearance rate with only 33.3% of its 12 auctions cleared.

A four bedroom house at 200 Scenic Drive, Merewether Heights (above) has been sold for $1.375 million.

Similarly a four bedroom house at 3 Barker Street, the hill (below) was sold for $1.775 million.
