Homes in Darwin takes 146 days to sell: CoreLogic

A home in Darwin takes the longest time to sell across the capital cities, according to CoreLogic’s latest weekly report.

The property advisory firm says that the average home in Darwin can expect to take 146 days to sell.

A three bedroom Driver property has been for sale since April. It has a $365,000 plus asking price. It was up for rent at $450 a week in July last year.

This is compared to Canberra where a home will only be on the market for 24 days on average before being sold.

Units in Perth takes the longest time to sell with an average of 89 days on the market before it is sold compared to Sydney’s 27 days for a unit.
