A circa 1880's stone mortgagee home in Mannum, South Australia has sold for $195,000.

The house sold for slightly more than when it last sold. In 2004 it transacted for $189,000.

Mark Egan of Landmark Harcourts marketed the property.

Situated at 559 Purnong Road, the three bedroom one bathroom house sits facing the Murray River.

Set on 1 hectare, the abode features 122 sqm of internal space. 

The property was offered with an asking price of $202,000, $7,000 more than what the property settled for.

CoreLogic only records two other instances in which the home changed hands, first in 1998 for $50,000 and then in 1999 for $100,000.

The median sale price for a home in Mannum is $249,000, according to CoreLogic
