Harvey, WA mortgagee home sold after listing cut by $100,000

A four bedroom house in the South West of Western Australia has been sold by mortgagees for $500,000.

It was listed by Carlo Celisano from LJ Hooker Harvey.

The most recent asking price for the modern 2011 home was $515,000.

However, when it hit the market last February it was hoping for at least $595,000.

It was also for sale for 166 days in 2014 at $629,000.

Set on an 823 sqm corner block, the house at 110 Herbert Road, Harvey comes with four bedrooms, kitchen with stone benchtops, open plan living, separate theatre room and study. 

Other features include reverse cycle air conditioner, three car garage and powered workshop.

The median price for a home in Harvey is $267,500 according to CoreLogic, which calculate its annual change in median price over the past 10 years as 1.4 percent.
