A home in Hampton sold last weekend following a contested auction with four bidders.

The four bedroom, three bathroom house dubbed the “perfect family oasis” sold for $2.75 million — $25,000 above reserve.

Matthew Pillios Andre O'Brien and Kate Strickland of Marshall White marketed the property.

Situated at 17 Teddington Road, Hampton, the listing describes the home as "an unforgettable statement in style and sophistication".

Featuring a north facing outdoor space, it boasts a salt water solar heated swimming pool surrounded by landscaped gardens and a covered deck.

Set on 758 square metres, the 2008 built property contains a double garage with internal access, ducted heating and cooling, underground 22,000L water tank and garden irrigation.

Last sold in 2005, the holding transacted for $620,002.

Its purchase was followed by a DA valued at $500,000 for a house/single dwelling in 2006.

Positioned near the beach, Hampton Street amenities and Hampton Station, it is also located within a short distance of numerous schools.
