Geelong scores 70 percent auction clearance rate: CoreLogic

Geelong had the highest weekend auction clearance rate in the regions, according to CoreLogic’s latest report.

The property data firm says that out of the 41 auctions in Geelong 70.7 percent of them resulted in a successful outcome.

This is followed by the Hunter region with 68.8% and Wollongong with 66.7 percent.

The Sunshine Coast had the lowest auction clearance rate with only 46 percent of its auctions cleared.

A three bedroom house at 396 Ryrie Street, East Geelong (above) has been sold for $520,000.

Similarly a three bedroom house at 23 Veronica Avenue, Newcomb (below) was sold for $325,000.
