Fox Footy League Teams co-host Paul Roos, the former Sydney Swans coach and wife Tami have snappily sold their redundant Coogee apartment for $3.1 million.

Mark McPherson and Emilee Tayyara at McGrath Coogee exchanged contracts on the whole-floor penthouse style apartment following its first open for inspection.

Paul was flying in from Hawaii and managed to sign the papers at the airport on his interconnecting flight to back to his Brighton, Melbourne base.

Paul and Tami bought the 247 sqm 2/28 Arcadia Street apartment in 2015, spending $2,165,000 on the Allen Jack+Cottier designed space.

The couple who divide their time between Hawaii and Melbourne spent $3.85 million when upgrading from Elwood last year.
