The former Hugo Boss managing director Aaron Kanat has sold his luxury Curlewis home on the Bellarine Peninsula.

The architecturally designed waterfront outside of Melbourne on Corio Bay will be the second most expensive sale in the area after it sold for between $5.5 million and $6 million.

It had initial $6 million to $6.5 million hopes through RT Edgar Point Lonsdale agents Felix Hakins and Jeremy Fox.

A couple from Melbourne bought the two hectare property with tennis court and self-contained guest accomodation.

It has views across the bay back to Melbourne.

The block that has direct access to a north-facing beach cost $1.75 million in 2006.
