The five bedroom, one bathroom house had been listed for auction over the past five years, the first in 2014 and the second in July 2019.

Trina Martin of Surat Basin Real Estate marketed the property.

Situated at 119 Gormleys Road, the property is a timber house on stumps, according to the listing.

Built in 1950, it is located a short distance from the Chinchilla train station and other amenities.

Last sold in 2006 the property transacted for $82,000.

The median price for a home in Chinchilla is $191,00 according to CoreLogic data.
