Colliers International has sold two DA approved sites at Hemmant to a Brisbane developer for $5 million.

Estates Co. purchased the two sites, totalling 2.23ha.

The new owner has obtained development approval for 36 home sites ranging from 400sqm to 600sqm.

The sites at 261 & 273 Hemmant-Tingalpa Road are within 10km of the Brisbane CBD and within close proximity to the Port of Brisbane employment hub

They previously had acquired 30 Oswald St, Hemmant around 12 months ago for $4.715 million for a total of 68 residential lots.

Estates Co. has developed other infill projects in the surrounding area.

These sites as the last available flood free land in the area.

"There are other sites in the area, but they are badly affected by flood or environmental issues," Jason Dao, at Colliers International said.

“The business recognises the keenness of homeowners to live and work near the city while being surrounded with other key amenities such as shopping centres, train station, schools and parks,” he said.

Both projects will be developed in the first quarter of 2019.
