Eastern suburbs continue to lead Sydney's clearance rate

There's no slowing in Sydney's Eastern suburbs, according to CoreLogic weekend data.

The sub-region secured another strong clearance rate of 77 percent, well up on the 68 percent clearance rate Sydney totalled over the weekend.

It's the second week in a row that the area has been approaching the 80 percent mark it achieved in the first weekend auctions of March.

One of the priciest weekend sales in Sydney's east was a retro Dover Heights home that fetched $3.85 million.

The four bedroom home, that last traded for $316,500 in 1984, had a buyers' guide of $3.65 million.
