Dwelling approvals rise, but remain below peaks: CoreLogic

Dwelling approvals rose in April but remain well below recent peaks, according to CoreLogic’s latest update.

The property data firm says that the number of dwellings approved sits well higher than it was five years ago in 2012 despite the dip.

However, the number of units approved is lower than houses in 2017 compared to the past two years where it had seen activity above houses.

Houses continue to be at the top of properties approved with an approval rate of 60%.
