Combined capital city clearance rate at 76.2 percent: CoreLogic

The combined capital city clearance rate increased to 76.2 percent, up from last week's figure of 75.1 percent, according to CoreLogic.

CoreLogic state 2,844 homes nationwide were taken to auction, with volumes at 3,540 last year. 

"Each individual capital city market has seen a rise in auction volumes over the week, while clearance rates have been somewhat varied," CoreLogic said.

"The highest preliminary clearance rate was in Sydney where 83.9 percent of auctions cleared over the week, followed by Canberra at 76.6 percent."
