The Elizabeth Bay home of the historian Victor Crittenden, who died last May, fetched $700,000 at Cooley Auctions this week.

He had long been a longtime Elizabeth Bay local, buying some four decades ago.

The one bedroom apartment, with study, was set on the top floor of the art deco block, Chesham.

It sold through Brigitte Blackman at LJ Hooker.
